Taking its name from the Hindi word meaning “Confluence,” Sangam is inspired by the proverb that an individual thing can be “greater than the sum of its parts.”

This blended whisky, created by Anup Barik, master blender of Radico Khaitan, combines malts from European countries traditionally producing whisky with distilleries from the new world.

Tasting Notes


Colour : Amber.

Nose : A hint of tropical fruits, such as lychee, green apple, and apricot, immediately stands out. Then come delicate notes of citrus along with floral hints of rose and heather. Spices like cinnamon and nutmeg complement the rich flavors of brown sugar, honey, vanilla, and caramel. A touch of salinity and a hint of peaty smoke intertwine delicately.

Palate : Deep and creamy, fruity aromas blend with perfectly balanced salinity and peat. The peat smoke then gives way to intensified spices, ranging from cinnamon and nutmeg to woody vanilla, followed by a hint of honey on a pleasantly wine-like texture.

Finish : The peat and spices linger pleasantly in the mouth. A true confluence of flavors, cultures, and traditions.
