Produced from peat-malted barley from the Isle of Islay, this single malt is aged in sherry casks, and finished in oak barrels from its native Oregon. This new whiskey with an annual production of 12,000 bottles at 42.5% ABV is reminiscent of the very peaty malts from southern Islay, and serves as a reminder that age is not necessarily an indicator of value.
