GLENLIVET 1946 G&M

$9,500.00

The history of The Glenlivet whisky dates back to the 19th century. Located in a remote area in the north of Scotland, the distillery was shielded from regulations. Its founder, George Smith, patiently distilled a smooth, complex malt with a long finish. In 1824, he became the first distiller to obtain an official license. At the time, many other distilleries tried to copy his style, even borrowing his name. In 1884, George Smith was granted the right to call his whisky “THE” Glenlivet, the original whisky from the Livet Valley.
