This single malt is the signature of the Benromach distillery, one of the smallest distilleries in Scotland, whose raison d’être is to produce old-style single malts. Slightly peated, it comes from the blend of first-fill bourbon and oloroso sherry casks. The result is a fruity and cereal single malt, sublimated by a smoky note. Of great finesse, it combines the typical sherry notes (compoted fruits, toffee, or black cherry) with a fresh character, marked by vanilla or orchard fruit aromas.
